I’m Octavia Dosier, a PR and visibility strategist who helps established founders and experts turn deep experience into clear positioning, credible stories, and authority that travels beyond social media.
I’ve spent more than two decades helping strong ideas get taken seriously.
My career has moved through entertainment, technology, consumer brands, wellness, sports, and culture. I’ve worked inside organizations and alongside agencies, shaping communications for brands including Nike, Mastercard, Slack, Roku, truth®, and Warner Bros. Games.
That experience taught me how decisions get made behind the scenes: why one story earns attention while another disappears, why expertise alone does not create authority, and why visibility without a clear narrative rarely leads anywhere useful.
Why my approach looks different
I’ve watched smart founders get told that the answer to every business problem is more content, more posting, and more access to their personal lives. I don’t believe visibility should require you to become a full-time performer.
Often, the real problem is not a lack of effort. It is a visibility gap: the distance between the value of your work and how clearly other people understand it.
My role is to help you close that gap. We clarify what you should be known for, shape the stories that support it, and build a practical route for getting those stories into the right rooms.

I work best with experienced founders, wellness leaders, creative entrepreneurs, and experts who already have substance. They are not trying to manufacture a persona. They need help making their value easier to recognize.

I’m also the host of Culture Lit, where I talk about Black romance, culture, joy, and the stories that give us somewhere to rest. Through The Intentional Edit, I explore books, wellness, reinvention, travel, and the ongoing work of building a life with room to breathe.
Those interests are not separate from my PR work. They shape how I think about ambition, attention, and what success is supposed to make possible. I believe authority can be built without surrendering your privacy, your health, or every hour of your day to an algorithm.
